Jamie Wolf Zivin is a partner at Wolf Solovy & Zivin. Jamie focuses her practice in estate planning, real estate, corporate and tax law. Jamie enjoys helping clients establish secure and effective estate plans which provide for the transfer of their assets in accordance with their wishes while minimizing tax consequences and avoiding probate. Her plans regularly use estate planning to provide creditor protection for beneficiaries, minimizing the beneficiaries risk of loss to their creditors, as well as protection of assets in the event of a beneficiary’s divorce.

It is Jamie’s standard practice to stay in touch with estate planning clients to ensure that if the size or composition of their estate changes, or if there is a change in tax law, their estate planning documents can be quickly revised to reflect their current wishes, changes, or as otherwise needed to minimize taxes.

Jamie prides herself in her attention to detail while providing cost effective representation to achieve the best possible outcome for her clients.

Jamie received her J.D. and a Certificate in Tax Law from Loyola University Chicago School of Law. The Certificate in Tax Law is earned only by those students that complete a structured tax curriculum that provides a thorough study of the fundamentals in the major areas of taxation. While in law school, Jamie was awarded a CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Advocacy in recognition of her strong research, writing and communication skills.

Prior to joining Wolf Solovy & Zivin, Jamie worked at a law firm in downtown Chicago where she assisted clients in various corporate and real estate transactions.

In her free time, Jamie enjoys spending time with her family, two kids and her pets, and cheering on the Kansas Jayhawks.
